Through a conservative approach I help people and small businesses make good financial decisions. With more than 15 years of experience as a financial planner, I strongly believe in the planning process as the foundation to building wealth. Through my education, life experiences and strategic partnering with other professionals, I bring a breadth of knowledge to our client’s individual financial plans and investment strategies.
Prior to merging practices with Jason Braley, I was on the ground floor of starting CU Financial Partners, LLC to provide credit unions and their members financial planning and investment services. During my tenure we built the company to over $150 million under advisement, serving four credit unions in the Silicon Valley. As a partner, I had an integral role in creating the financial planning process, back office operations and sales development. In 2016 we successfully sold the business to a credit union we served that re-branded the business as MW Wealth Advisors.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner, I am held to rigorous ethical standards and always place my clients interests first. I hold the following FINRA securities licenses – Series 7, 24, 63 & 66.
Outside of the office I enjoy reading, real estate investing and strategies, construction projects around the house and cooking. My wife Nicole and I have three children and have come to really enjoy being part of our local community. We often volunteer in their classes and participate in local fundraising efforts.
Have you ever had a difficult time making a financial decision and wondered if you were doing the right thing? This is the core of what we do, helping people and small businesses make good and informed financial decisions to build wealth. I believe the foundation to building your wealth starts by gaining a deep understanding of your unique situation and developing a personalized plan. With over 15 years of experience in working through thousands of different situations, I bring a great amount of real-world knowledge to our decision making.
I began my career working as an intern for Froshman Financial in 2004. After graduating, I was hired there full-time. In 2010 the owner decided to sell his business to John Burroughs, owner of Burroughs Financial Services in Santa Cruz. I worked closely with John until he retired at the end of 2017 when he achieved the 50-year mark in financial services. I purchased the business from him and continue to build our legacy.
For many years, my partner Sabin and I had dreamed of building something big together. In 2018, we successfully merged our businesses to become Burroughs-Braley-Alibrandi Wealth Management.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner, I am held to rigorous ethical standards and always place my client’s interests first. I hold the following FINRA securities licenses – Series 7 & 63.
My wife, Ashley, and I have been together for 20 years and have a 7-year old son, Fox. Without Ashley’s encouragement and support, we would not be where we are today. I commit my life to being a good father, husband, business owner and friend. Outside of this, I’ve been an avid mountain biker since before bike suspension was invented, I enjoy the satisfaction of sweat equity, working on my race car, wrestling with my son, and just being outside in the fresh air.
Superior client service is always my priority. As your Client Advocate, I work with you to make sure that your needs are always met in a timely manner and that all your questions are being addressed. If there is a life change, I will guide and assist you through necessary tasks, making them as simple as possible. As the Office Manager, I can be your first point of contact to schedule an appointment, or for any inquiry regarding your financial planning process. I will ensure that the appropriate member of our team responds to your query.
My career in the securities industry began in 2000, when John Burroughs, CFP® needed an assistant. John and I branched off from the bank in 2003, to begin this firm, which has evolved into the practice of Jason Braley and Sabin Alibrandi. Now, after over 20 years of experience, building relationships with our clients is what I enjoy most. Knowing about their lives and families allows me to make sure that we are doing everything possible to facilitate with their financial goals.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy a home nearby. My husband, Bryan, our teenage daughter, and I enjoy our time together taking walks to the beach, playing with and training our German Shepherd, relaxing and puttering around our home and community.
